Scramble With Friends<\/strong> is one of my favourite games on Android – I’ve always found some challenge and fun in trying to find patterns and meaning out of what seems to be a jumble of noise and data.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, one day when I was playing the app glitched up and since that point the animations would no longer work when swiping between the tiles to form words. For some, this might not be such a big deal but for me it helped me realise how much I relied upon the visual cues to help form other words as the game progressed.<\/p>\n

Luckily, the solution is simple and it involves clearing the application cache (which seems to fix most quirks with Android apps) by doing the following:<\/p>\n

  1. Unlock the phone,<\/li>\n
  2. Tap the menu key and tap Settings<\/strong>,<\/li>\n
  3. Scroll down to Application Manager<\/strong>,<\/li>\n
  4. Tap the All<\/strong> tab,<\/li>\n
  5. Scroll down to Scramble<\/strong> and tap it,<\/li>\n
  6. Tap Force stop<\/strong> then Clear Data<\/strong>,<\/li>\n
  7. Tap the back key three times.<\/li>\n
  8. Open up Scramble With Friends<\/strong> (you may need to re-enter your login details again).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
