{"id":4515,"date":"2012-07-27T11:30:03","date_gmt":"2012-07-27T01:30:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mingersoft.com\/blog\/?p=4515"},"modified":"2012-07-27T19:54:10","modified_gmt":"2012-07-27T09:54:10","slug":"incoming-gadget-2012-toyota-prius","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mingersoft.com\/blog\/2012\/07\/incoming-gadget-2012-toyota-prius\/","title":{"rendered":"Incoming Gadget &#8211; 2012 Toyota Prius"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is by far the largest and most expensive gadget (if you can call it a gadget) I&#8217;ve been able to get my hands on and I&#8217;m quite excited to be sharing my experience with it on the blog with everyone.<\/p>\n<p>For those that don&#8217;t know, I already drive a 2008 Toyota Prius i-Tech but the lease on this car has nearly run its course and it&#8217;s time to start looking for a replacement. Mind you, there&#8217;s absolutely nothing wrong with the current Prius after 100,000km on the clock but it was a good opportunity to let a relative pay out the residual and get rid of their &#8220;well worn&#8221; vehicle. Another benefit is that we know how the car has been treated, where everything is located and it&#8217;s very much a case of get in, push the start button and drive.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, the 2012 Toyota Prius does come with some nifty upgrades, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>solar ventilation system (ideal for keeping the car close to the ambient temperature outside when parked out in the sun),<\/li>\n<li>remote air-conditioning (providing a three minute burst of AC with the touch of a button from outside the vehicle without starting the car),<\/li>\n<li>radar cruise control (which helps maintain a safe distance and speed from vehicles in front when engaged),<\/li>\n<li>pre-collision safety system (pre-emptive braking and seatbelt tensioning when an imminent accident is detected),<\/li>\n<li>SUNA GPS traffic updates (real-time traffic information broadcast over FM radio to help provide accurate travel time information and recommend alternative routes to your destination).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is by far the largest and most expensive gadget (if you can call it a gadget) I&#8217;ve been able to get my hands on and I&#8217;m quite excited to be sharing my experience with it on the blog with everyone.
