If you’ve been wanting to try out Android without investing in a device then you might be interested in a piece of software called BlueStacks.<\/p>\n

Think of it as an emulator of sorts that allows you to run Android apps in a window and use them as if they were running on an Android smartphone or device. Instead of a touchscreen you can use a keyboard and mouse to navigate an app and instead of using the Google Play store to get new apps you use the 1Mobile market in the home menu. If you’re already a user of Android you might need to get used to how BlueStacks words but you shouldn’t be trying to figure things out for too long.<\/p>\n

Even for graphically intense games, BlueStacks works really well (perhaps better than a lot of Android devices out there). Some apps are better suited to touchscreens than a keyboard and mouse (such as Fruit Ninja which is hardly a joy when using a mouse) but at least it gives you a feel for how an app will work.<\/p>\n
