If you’re a RunKeeper user and have also reset your Windows Phone recently then you may come to the sad realisation that RunKeeper seems to be absent in the Windows Phone Marketplace. Rest assured, you probably aren’t mistyping the name or coming up against a glitch in the Marketplace but the somple fact is that RunKeeper has withdrawn their support for Windows Phone.<\/p>\n
This is a real shame as being a person who is a big fan of Windows Phone and and a regular user of Android and iOS this throws a spanner in the works when it comes to cross platform availability. That said, the RunKeeper app on Windows Phone was pretty bad particularly when it came to resuming after phone calls, posting results to Facebook and general stability.<\/p>\n
Anyway, this is a great opportunity to find an alternative service and I am going to start trying Endomondo instead. It’s a good idea to export your data from RunKeeper first<\/a>\u00a0and then import it into EndoMondo so you can preserve your workout history. You can also hook up Endomondo with Facebook and Twitter while having the ability to link your Fitbit account as well (which is perfect for me).<\/p>\n Did RunKeeper spread things a little too thin?
