{"id":2570,"date":"2011-07-11T20:37:37","date_gmt":"2011-07-11T10:37:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mingersoft.com\/blog\/?p=2570"},"modified":"2011-07-11T20:37:37","modified_gmt":"2011-07-11T10:37:37","slug":"bolster-your-dos-usb-boot-disk-part-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mingersoft.com\/blog\/2011\/07\/bolster-your-dos-usb-boot-disk-part-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Bolster Your DOS USB Boot Disk &#8211; Part 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, I walked through how to <a title=\"Make Your Own DOS USB Boot Disk | Boydo's Tech Talk\" href=\"http:\/\/mingersoft.com\/blog\/2011\/07\/make-your-own-dos-usb-boot-disk\/\" target=\"_blank\">make your own DOS USB boot disk<\/a> with the final result being a bootable USB stick that won&#8217;t do much more than let you browse the USB stick itself and other internal FAT and FAT32 drives.<\/p>\n<p>Today, we&#8217;ll make that USB stick a bit more useful.<\/p>\n<p>The first and easiest thing to do is to copy all of all the DOS files that we extracted yesterday to C:\\DOS (or wherever you copied them) to the USB stick.
