You shouldn&#8217;t need to worry about which version you require as Windows Update will do the detection work for you.<\/p>\n<p>For most, this will essentially be a roll up of all the security updates released to date for Office 2010 but there are a number of fixes delivered as part of the update including improved stability and compatibility with Office Web Apps. The release of SP1 also serves as a trigger for corporations to move to the newer versions so I wouldn&#8217;t be surprised if we see a mass migration to Office 2010 in the later half of 2011 (particularly after how disruptive Office 2007 was with its ribbon interface).<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, don&#8217;t be surprised or worried to see the service pack next time you run Windows Update &#8211; grab it when you see it!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just a quick heads up on another development from Microsoft in what is shaping up to be a busy week for them.
