If you’ve been following the blog you might be aware that I have been invited to Panasonic’s new home entertainment product lunch which is taking place tomorrow night (Wednesday May 11th, 2011) . This is a bit special for me (and a handful of other people invited by Panasonic) as normally these events are exclusive to the media and the big retailers (like Harvey Norman, Dick Smith, etc). I am also told that Panasonic will be unleashing their tech gurus at the event who will be on hand to answer all of our questions.<\/p>\n

I managed to get an invite to the event through my participation in the Panasonic Insider Crew managed by The Soup<\/a> on behalf of Panasonic by filling in a survey asking why I should be chosen to attend. I have had a good run with their prior surveys having walked away with a Panasonic Viera 3DTV<\/a> and a Pansonic 3D Blu-ray Player<\/a> in the first survey I filled in as well as being invited to a focus group for the second survey I had completed a couple of months ago.<\/p>\n

Anyway, I will be tweeting live from the event about the gadgets on show and will also try to get around to answering those burning questions people may have about the new products. If you want to follow my tweets just follow boydostechtalk on Twitter<\/a> and keep an eye out for the hash tag\u00a0#panasonic2011launch<\/a> where you can see tweets from others at the event.\u00a0I’ll also be taking photos at the event (both with my phone so I can upload some live images and my digital SLR too) and I am hoping that I will be allowed to capture some video footage and share some of the highlights on the Boydo’s Tech Talk channel on YouTube<\/a>.<\/p>\n
