So, the replacement for my ill-fated Logitech UE9000 headphones finally arrived in the form of the Logitech G930 Wireless Gaming Headset and, of course, that demands an unboxing video! Given that Logitech no longer manufactured the UE9000 headphones I was offered a choice of another product up to the same value. Given that I needed a headset with …

Kreyos Meteor Smartwatch Unboxing + Microphone & Speaker Test

Before you ask, yes I did back this campaign on Indiegogo. There was quite a slip from a delivery date of November 2013 to August 2014 with the speaker sound quality being one of the major blockers of the project delivery. Anyway, the smartwatch arrived in the mail on Friday and I was in two …

Incoming Gadget – Logitech G930 Wireless Gaming Headset

My broken Logitech UE9000 headphones :(

Just a quick update. Given that my Logitech UE9000 wireless headphones broke at the end of June 2014 I’ve had to use other headphones until I sorted out my warranty claim. I’ll cover that in more detail soon but it took me four weeks to convince Logitech USA to replace the headphones as I purchased …

My broken Logitech UE9000 headphones :(

A while back I unboxed my Logitech UE9000 headphones and I have really enjoyed their audio quality as well as the convenience of Bluetooth connectivity with my smartphone and computers. Working Out How to Unlock the Fuel Tank Lid on Rental Cars

This last weekend I had to pop back to Melbourne for a day and although I was tempted to drive down and back in my own car it was probably a bit more sensible to fly down and back and hire a car for the duration of my visit. Amazingly, it would have been cheaper to …

Tax Breaks with Store Vouchers and Gift Cards

Here’s a quick tip. In Australia, the end of financial year is almost upon us and people would be looking to get organised in order to submit their tax claims shortly after the month clicks over. Usually, this might involve buying new equipment or devices whose value can be depreciated over several years as a …

Nokia Lumia 1520 Case Reviews

Front View of the Lumia 1520 in the Melkco Case

Not too long ago I bought myself a new Nokia Lumia 1520 to replace my Lumia 920 which was still going strong but I just couldn’t resist the upgrade to a six inch screen offered by the 1520. Yes, I know for some people that is ludicrously huge (mind you, I didn’t go for the …

Introduction First up, I want to thank MobileZap for sending me a pair of Avantree Audition Bluetooth Stereo NFC Headphones to review. These Avantree headphones are just one pair of a wider range …
