Pebble Shipping Date Locked In
It’s been a while coming but it looks like the Pebble smart watch will start shipping on January 23rd, 2013 after such a popular response to its Kickstarter campaign. That said, it could take up to eight weeks from that date for backers to start receiving their smart watches so you may need to exercise a little more patience.
However, having moved to a Nokia Lumia 920 (a Windows Phone 8 device) this might put me behind the eight ball to properly test the Pebble. I do have an old Samsung Galaxy S kicking around so I will see if the Pebble will work with that smartphone. At any rate, investigations into Windows Phone 8 compatibility will be undertaken this year but as to whether or not something surfaces is another matter altogether.
Anyway, stay tuned and I will let you know when it eventually arrives along with shooting the usual videos for it.
