Keep Your Screen On Under Android

Prior to obtaining the Samsung Galaxy S III I was looking forward to the Smart Stay function so that I wouldn’t have to keep tapping the screen to keep it awake. However, I don’t always have the phone right in front of my face for Smart Stay to detect whether or not I am looking at it. This can be annoying when I have an app open to keep tabs on something (like Google Analytics) and I have to keep nudging it.

Fortunately, there is a solution and it’s called Screen On.

It’s quite a simple app to use once installed. In the settings, simply enable it to work and tick all of the apps with which you require the screen to remain on. From that point onwards, Screen On will take care of the rest!

Just be careful though as this could be a really easy way of draining your battery so make sure you exit out of the enabled applications
