Find Out About Daylight Saving Time Changes in Windows
Here’s a quick tip for tonight.
If you like in a part of the world which observes daylights saving (which I personally find annoying) you can easily find out what happened or what will happen with regard to the system clock (whichever is closest).
Under Windows Vista and Windows 7 all you need to do is click on the time at the end of the taskbar and you should see a window similar to the below:
System Time Settings
You’ll see at the bottom an informative note about:
- the start of finish of daylight saving time,
- the date and time it started or finished,
- the length of time the clock was advanced or set back.
It’s also a great way to jog the old memory as to when the clocks changed rather than trying to find it on Google 🙂
